ONLY THE BEAUTIFUL DIE YOUNG

I wake, smile, turn my head,
Silently scream knowing not what I've said.
As I look in the mirror I know it will shatter
I can't go outside, but that doesn't matter

My whole boring life, still before me
I need you to reassure me
Power-crazy, so far flung
But only the beautiful die young

After they're gone when no-one cares
I know we will still be there
Still unattractive, nothing's been gained
But at least we know something remains.
